New chick in distress! *PICS ADDED*

I just got a chick and barely over an hour later, I check on it and it's flopped on it's side gagging. I am giving it warm sugar water, and trying to feed it some egg, but it just keeps gagging. It won't stand up. This is not the first chick from Atwoods to do this!! The others died.

Is it maybe too hot? Does it have a place to escape the heat. Perhaps its panting?

It's in a large tub. The lamp is about 3 ft up. It's 90 in the tub. I dunno. It's leg keeps shaking...

Could it have aspirated itself? Was it drinking prior to this?

It had some water and there was food for it too. It is in my lap right now, and I just gave her some pedialyte, which seems to be doing some good.

Do you have any Sav-A-Chik to mix into it's water?
Try making a slurry of chick feed & warm water & see if you can get any of that down.
I hope it gets better soon.

I think it is doing better. She is now chirping and standing again. I will check on her throughout the night.
