We have a few roos: 3 RIR, 1 golden feathered banty, a sultan and a golden-laced polish...hhhmmm. The polish is the only one that was somewhat black as a chick.

I have a white Leghorn who came from a cochin and a buff orpington. Se came out white, but the other chicken came out to be a weird orange color, not the color of a buff orpington.
