Hi Everyone I was so glad to find this awesome website. I love looking at the pictures and reading the posts. Most are very helpful especially to a novice like myself.
I purchased 6 red pullets from tractor supply. Thinking they would be Rhode Island Reds. Then upon reading apparently they contracted a hatchery for a new hybrid chicken Tetra-Tint ( combo of Rhoad Island Red and White leghorn). However the staff was not sure either. So now they are 4 weeks old and I think one may be a Roo. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to BYC!

Cute babies! It can be hard to tell gender at this age unless something really stands out. Even pullets can grow combs fast with a bit of red in them. In a few weeks you should be able to tell if you have a cockerel or pullet.

Great to have you aboard and enjoy your new babies!
