Here's mine. First pic is before I moved them from main to smaller, private coop. The reason I moved them is because the chick somehow jumped off the nest, and couldn't get back. I found mama sheltering the chick on the floor. It was cold, so I put them in another, safer coop.

I put out an APB (All Points Bulletin) with a warrant for her arrest for child abandonment. Somehow she got word and is laying low. You can run, but you can't hide. I'll throw her in the slammer when I catch her.

Doing a criminal investigation right now. Making all the hens show ID and interrogating them as to her whereabouts. Everybody's being mum.

Doing a neighborhood sweep and asking everyone if they've seen a hen with a comb like this. No one's saying a word. It's funny; when I show the paper to a hen others start running to look at it. They think I have a treat.
