Hello. Never done this before. Lookinh for clear cut pics on when/ how to assist hatching, how to tell if yolk has absorbed as well as blood. I have 2 red star hens two roos who were randomly given to me and a black hen i dont know what she is but i love her anyway. So first time i hatched with a regular light bulb and got 2 babies YAY! Now im using a real incubator and we had a sad. A baby hatched itself too quick and had yolk attatched. It ripped it off by accident itself and i popped it into a brooder aline so the others wouldnt hurt it but it kept flipping over and died. Now i am watching one who had an external pip last night struggle. * started to assist got scared stopped and put it in the 'bator and jacked the humidity up after wrapping baby in warm wet toilet paper. Had to make do... Didnt have paper towel. Its breathing but not very energetic and im scares for it. Help?
