if your chick is young enough you may be able to correct its legs. Check out about splayed legs. You will find a lot of good information here Good luck with your chicks and have fun...

Thank you for the kind words! I've had large livestock for most of my life so I've unfortunately had to make tough calls in the past. But I truly think that the animals will tell you with their actions when it's time to go. The little chick had a good burial and a loving last few days, that's all I could ask for.
