A blacking brown you say?
What I mean is I have a VERY black marked brown chick... it's so pretty! I've had some like this before but never one so dark the others seemed to have featherd out normal but hopefully this one has some distinguishing adult feature so its' something fun for me to breed for
Chick in upper right is the dark chick below it are two normal browns:
And here is the brown with the white wing tips... this little cutie is a survivor. Dont' ask me how but SOMEHOW this sweetie fell out of the brooder, got across and out of the bird fenced in area for God knows how long and hid in the gulley crying until I heard it's cries and came and found it very cold to the touch...it's now back in the incubator recouping...first little coturnix excapee i've had and Im so glad I found it!
I named it Spangle.... never had a brown chick with white wing tips before, will be neat if these feather out white if not i'll be bummed but Spangle is lucky he or she has a perminant home here now after what that sweetie went through:
And here is one of the two A & M chicks produced from my Tuxedo over Tuxedo pen:
Here is two of the chicks that hatched from my Rosetta pen, two goldens, and short downed goldens at that....look at them compaired to this fluffy jumbo golden:
Two on left are Rosetta x Rosetta:
Here is one of them in the background with the fluffier jumbo golden in the front the head shape is very different:
and one just by itself body shape looks different:
The difference is probably just pharoah to jumbo in size but it's still neat on these rosetta x rosetta golden chicks
