We had sun this morning.. drizzly rain now.. sighs. Matches my mood.. we lost our little salmon faverolle today

It's been a long week and I worked overtime last week so I haven't had much time to catch up on here. We are figuring since we were able to save a few they ended up with coccidosis.. so easy to get when they are that little and under stress. The breeder and I agreed it was a foul weather day to pick them up.. pouring rain.. but our schedules were so nutty that's what we went with.. Took forever to get them home.. I think the stress was just too much... cocci took over.. Corid and poultry drench saved some... we have a few new ones now.. back to six total. The coop progress is really coming together.. I am hoping to have them out in it by the weekend. Their run won't be done, but they are still young enough to be inside for a few more weeks anyways.
