She will make a friendly girl if she is happy being held now. As far as chickens go, most production chickens (like Leghorns and RIR) don't make good pets. The reason is that most of them are bred to only do one thing, like lay eggs at a higher rate than normal. Other breeds, like Bantams, were bred just for ornamental and pet purposes. So when the Leghorn breed was developed, the breeders didn't calmness or low-agression (like with Ornamental Breeds) instead they focused on things like egg size and feed-to-egg conversion. This made the breed (for the most part) become a flighty, easily frightened bird. The Leghorns of today , esspecially hatchery birds, are known to be flighty. This is why I warned you. It's just commonly assumed that they are flighty. There are exceptionsto every rule, though. I have read that if you de-sensitize them to human contact a young age they make perfect pets. So, keep holding her and rewarding her with a treat when she comes to you. You can make her into a great pet! Good Luck!
