New chick to this chicken-thing!

We have about 2 acres in a rural area, a miniature Australian shepherd, 11 chickens (hopefully hens): four buff orpingtons, three barred rocks, two New Hampshire reds and two silver-laced Wyandottes who seem to be at the 'top of the heap' in the pecking order and stick together like glue! Two of the buff orpingtons and the New Hampsire reds are smaller and I am keeping them close, but speparated, with the older hens who are about three months old. I will try to integrate the younger with the older when the younger ones are closer to the same size as the older ones, right?

Thank you for all the warm welcomes!!!! You guys are GREAT! Your support and advice has been SO helpful and appreciated!!
