new chick with crooked neck...please help!

Chick crops look huge when full.
I wouldn't be too upset about mom since she stepped on them and pushed them away to get at the feed. Sounds more like mommy dearest. I'm sure the special one is much more appreciative of the company than mum was.

Thank you, seminolewind, for helping ease my guilt a bit for taking the babies away from mom. They are already starting to come to my hand in the brooder and like to be lightly petted

Thanks for the reasurance about the babies crops, too. WOW...those little guys are pigs!
They are all making happy chirping noises and getting along great. I couldn't be happier (except for feeling bad for the mom
