I appreciate it. I didn't even buy any bedding...they were without it in the store, so didn't realize I needed it. :/

Yeah. That's easy to get confused. I didn't think they needed it before either. It helps with regulating heat and makes clean up easier. If they're on slippery grounds, it also helps prevent splayed leg. (Where the leg is malpositioned)
