do follow the suggestions by the other posters..
and do try and get some antibiotic eye drops or ointment (for eyes)..

he is cheeping because he is stressed, and fearful..he can't see..
he also might might be in some pain.

hope you are keeping him warm and safe, preferably in a small confined area with food and water close by.
after you get the eye cleaned and applied the eye drops..his vision might still be cloudy for a while, and he might even walk funny due to the vision not being right.

hope his eyes are ok..

Yes I am keeping him confined with a heat lamp. I am using medicated crumbles for bedding with the hope that he will try to eat. I have been putting yogurt mixed with feed on a spoon and trying to get him to eat it. And of course the water dropper. I am wiping the eyes with warm salt water as was suggested. The one eye is there but YES, it is really tiny! The other has some blood on it,I don't even see an eyeball there. He just looks so small. I feel so bad for this little guy.

When you say "incubation related" do you know what the problem might have been. I have a couple dozen more eggs in the bator. I have succesfully hatched chicks under the same conditions as this one. I am a little nervous about the ones in the bator. Do you have any suggestions?
