New Chick!

Good morning! I always wanted chickens and was lucky to get 4 babies that were hatched at work (classroom). I was crossing my fingers and toes that all were hens, however, this beautiful beau was in the mix. Unfortunately I can’t keep him in my town. Part Silky part Black Orpington. Anyone interested? Located in SE Mass

You can try listing him in our Buy/Sell forum, but be sure to put your state in the subject line. That makes it easier for folks to know if they're close to you or not. This is the "chickens 8 weeks and older" but if he's free, there's a thread for those too there.

I've had the best luck in my local/state poultry groups on Facebook and Craigslist a few times too.

Yes, that is because people insist on hatching. We should be finding homes for those chickens that need it right now.
