Hi everyone!

Where to start... I have bred and kept poultry for over 10 years now and have kept most types at some stage but mainly Transylvanian Naked Necks and Barbu d'anvers! That was last year on my parent's small holding in Wales (UK). I now live in Liverpool and am looking to start my flock again. I have already started with an O-Shamo (admittedly a bad place to start if I aim for a flock of birds!). He is only a couple of weeks and I got him from an agricultural show where I am on the poultry committee, as his breeder was going to dispatch him after the show if he was not sold!

So that's me and my flock of 1!
 
Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. You've had some very unusual breeds. I've had dozens of breeds over a 50 year period and never had any of those breeds (although I've seen a few of them). Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your O-Shamo and whatever other birds you end up getting for your flock.
