(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to chickens and I got my first in April 2019.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Too many? I think I was under the influence of the phenomenon known as "chicken math". I have 20 right now.
(3) What breeds do you have? I have silkies, naked necks ,polish , bantam cochin frizzles, a D'uccle and an orphington.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I have no idea yet but hoping for eggs and bug control.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening , crafts , horse training , geeking out on things like Dr.Who.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married, mother to 6 , 4 of whom are away adulting. I have 3 dogs, 7 cats and my horse Tad.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google, most of the time when I had questions BYC popped up and I have thousands of questions so joining seemed a good idea.
That's about it, I'm not very savvy using forums but am glad to be here.
