New mama to six chicks and two ducklings! Looking for a place to learn how to answer may questions and give them the best loving home 
Many years ago we had a flock of chickens, but they were my husbands hobby. I loved the eggs, but he was the one who cared for them. This time around, it looks like it will be me. He is not in the best of health and I originally thought of getting our flock to cheer him up and give him his hobby back. So far, he hasn't shown a lot of interest and I have fallen in love with them! So maybe this time it's my turn! We live in Northern Michigan, so winter is going to be the most difficult time, but with a little wisdom from you all, I think we can do it!
