Since I have dogs, I visit the pet stores frequently. I have taken to visiting the bird sections to see if they have anything my chickens would like. I found these long plastic funnel-shaped hanging containers for millet feeders for about $2 each. I have hung them various places in the chicken yard to keep them busy trying to get the millet out of the swinging hangers. Some of them are getting pretty good beak-eye coordination! The millet is cheaper in bulk around here.
