I have just registered as I am always reading threads on here and it seems to be great advice!
Thank you all

Our hen and cockerel have just become parents for the first time! So far 3 have hatched.
Advice as to when mum hen will start eating and drink normal again please?

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Hens generally leave the nest and start eating/drinking 24 to 36 hours after the first chick hatches. Some breeds, and some individuals will continue setting longer than that.
