New chicken father of 12

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

So glad you decided to join our community! I definitely agree with the others, no matter how cold it gets in your territory, you NEED to remove that insulation in the eaves and install hardware cloth. Chickens produce a ton of moisture at night and it's all going to fall back down as dew and frost making the chickens wet and frost bitten. Moisture needs to rise and go out the roof, 1/2 square foot of vent space per bird.

Expand your run, outside they need 10 square feet per bird for good mental health or they can turn cannibalistic.

Enjoy your flock and welcome to ours!
