New Chicken House

This is my new DIY chicken House ~ I'm hoping the chickens will use the roosting bars as in the smaller coop they were sleeping in the nest boxes. Not sure if to keep the food and water inside or out ?

Cute little build -- might want to consider adding windows, though. As to the feed/water station question - how many birds are you housing in this and what are the dimensions? The available space needs to factor into whether you keep food/water inside. What type of feed/water dispensers are you planning to use? Again, that would factor into where best to situate them. Quick question on the nest boxes - - the photo does not seem to show much of a "lip" on the front, is that just the photo showing it badly? Folks are often surprised at how much digging a hen can do when she goes to nest each day so a good lip often becomes needed to keep bedding *and* eggs from being kicked out.

Is there room for them to fly down from roost board without crashing into wall or is there a ramp?

Hi ~ I think we will add some windows ~ and yes the lip on nesting area is too shallow I need to make that higher !
