New chicken just started laying eggs - question on frequency

Ok so I am new to chickens. I have had them for 7 months so deffinitely a newb. One of my chickens - EE, just started laying. And it is worth to day I have only one EE so I know it is her laying eggs. Looks like right now she is going at the rate of 1 a day fo rthe past week. Is this normal for the chicken to hit the ground running like this with the egg production? Reason I ask is because today I lifted her to make sure her behind is all ok, and looked like her vent prolapsed for a min and went back in. I guess there is no way to stop the eggs shooting out of her ha ha, but just asking...

Each one is an individual, one is never sure how they will start out. It is not out of the norm for one to go at one a day, from the start. Most will start slower however.
