Hi. New Member here. Longish story short...
I bought 20 chicks in April, one died. I bought 4 more and then another 4. I was then gifted a bunch more, kept 2, and gave the rest to a friend to rebuild her flock. The neighbor's dogs came down and slaughtered 5 of my chickens. That made me hesitate in adding the two new ones into the flock. I then bought 5 Salmon Faverolle chicks. My problem.... One of the two new adds into the flock's tail is drooping. They're both thin (ish). They won't leave the coop (I free range). I go into the coop and hold a dish of fly larvae so they will eat and I hold water up for them to drink. I'm really worried about them because I don't want them to just give up on trying to survive. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

If all your girls are dying, I wonder if you have a disease. Before you get new chicks you should quarantine them and totally clean your coop out
All my girls are not dying. I am worried about the two new ones I have added to the flock. They were quarantined by themselves for two months before being added. I am worried about them not coming down off their roosting bars to eat. I can't be out there all the time to watch them, so I am taking food to them while they are up on the roost.
