One piece of advice I can give you right off the bat. Kill any ants you have in your yard! Ants swarmed and killed two of my chickens (one one night, the other the next night..two different colonies of ants) before I figured out what had killed my peepers. Wish I would have known that about ants, but now I am telling you and getting the word out. Did you know that a colony of red ants can kill a lizard in under 4 minutes? Beastly creatures, I say.
