New Chicken Lady!

Hello! I'm brand new to chickens. We have 6 white leghorn chickens that are 3 weeks old. I'm a teacher and the science teacher at our school just hatched some chickens and had 6 left that she didn't know what to do with. So, they came home with me. We have a 4 year old and a 7 year old and 42 acres that we farm in alfalfa. Why not add chickens to the mix. Being a teacher, I went to the library and read all I could about them before we brought them home. I really like having them and hope they are happy here!!!!
