New chicken losing feathers

OK i recenty started the whole chicken thing and we got three chickens from a friend. One of them is losing feathers from everywhere for the last two weeks. Could it be stress or molting. She was laying eggs before we got her and she was broody right up till when we got her. Could it be stress or molting. She also is nto laying any eggs as of yet

Possible both stress and molting. When you said loosing feathers makes me think she molting. Im sure some more people will have more info for you.

she has been doing it for about two weeks now. Feathers all over the coop

My guess is she is going into a molt. But check her closely for mites and lice and general health.
