Hello, I have had my chickens for 2 years in April! I only have 3 , as one of them just fell over and died several months ago, even though she seemed perfectly okay! Now i have a chicken who has mostly stood in one spot all day. She is kind of puffed up, like they do when they are cold, but it is 80 degrees here. She did lay her egg this morning. And she did eat some food. ? She looks beautiful, but definitely acting strange. Not herself

Hello Caryn, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

The puffed up body is just a sign that she does not feel well.
You should start by checking between her legs for fluid build up or for hardness. Next, check her crop to see if she's been eating and if so, check it again before she comes off the roost in the morning to make sure it is emptying. You can also check her breath for a sour smell and check her vent to see if she has any loose stool stuck to her fluff or irritation on her skin.
