New Chicken mama here

I've been reading all sorts of useful information here! Thought it was time to introduce ourselves.

We are brand new to this chicken thing. My daughter started asking for chickens this spring and we finally talked my husband into it. We now have four chicks who are a week old. We have a Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Red Star and and Americauna. We are already in love with the little things with their own little personalities. Its amazing to see how much they have grown in just a week.

I'm so glad to have found this forum- such a wealth of information!
