I’m new on here. Have had my little silkies for a couple weeks. They all have names and personalities. I’m loving having them and will be sad to move them outside to their coop. I talk to them constantly. Been on here getting info to help me learn to take care of them. Their coop is framed and hoping to get it ready in the next few weeks. Thanks for helping us newbies!

Silkies are a great breed with the funniest personalities. I have six adults right now (1 rooster and 5 hens) and I love them to death. Some of the hens have already started laying and I expected my rooster to be crowing by now, but he just thinks he's a hen, lol.

Your babies are adorable! If you would like to share more Pictures and Stories of them, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
