We have six chicks that are 7 weeks old. My husband picked out 6 different breeds, I know we have a Bard Rock, a Buff Buff Orpington, a Rhode Island Red, I think a Blue Ameraucana... and two more that I am not sure of. They are mostly friendly, except for one...she just keeps to herself. We enjoy a little "chick therapy" every evening after work, when we take our cocktails and a few little chicken treats out to the coop...and just hang out with the girls. We named then after our grandmothers (plus a few extra grandma type names) Gladys, Estelle, Ruth, Hilda, Marion, and Pearl
 
My grandma's were Emma & Eva.

Does the loner chick, have any symptoms of illness,or is she picked on by the others?. Those are some reasons chicks have for staying away from others. Of course there are also chicks that just are unsociable. Is she eating, drinking, pooping like the others?
 
Congratulations on getting your chicks and :welcome I love hens with granny names! Mine are Claudette, Penelope, Rita, Gwyneth, Audrey and Ariana (not sure Ariana is such a grandma name but Ariana Araucana just has a ring to it :gig)
