We're new to the chicken life. I picked up our 6 gold sex link chicks today. They seem very sweet. How soon will I be able to tell if I got any roosters in the bunch?

Thanks!! That's what I've been reading. I think I have all females based on the reddish marks on their back but I'm not 100%.

Sex link means they are already sexed at birth/hatch, so you got all female!

With sex linked chickens it means that they are bred so that the males look different from the females, usually a different color. So the breeder knew as soon as they hatched. For other breeds, you'll know at about 6-10 weeks old, and definitely when they start to crow.
