Hey guys and gals and all chicken fanatics!!!!!! I am so excited to be apart of the group, I just recently joined the Facebook group and love it! I recently got 4 white leghorn chicks and we are coming into week 3! They have already grown so much and I am so excited to see them grow even more! Grateful for this group to teach me about all things chickens!!!!! Also... since I'm here.... I am just itching to get some silkies, do you think if I got a couple chicks they would be okay and accepted in the chick flock?

So glad you decided to join us. I usually try and combine chicks that are only 2 weeks apart. They start to create the pecking order by week 3 and adding chicks takes a bit more work. Just watch carefully if you add day olds to an older flock of chicks.

Welcome to BYC!! Integrating them at a young age is best.
