New chicken mama

Hi everyone. I've never done a forum like this so please forgive me for being a newbie.

Hubby built a lovely coop and now we have *gulps* 17 chickens. Twelve we know are girls and 1 is a boy but not sure about the rest. My gut is telling me we have 4 roosters total. If that's the case am I in for bad times ahead?

! Yeah, that many roosters will be a little rough on the hens - best to pare it down to one. As sourland said, they are tasty! Good luck to you and
