New chicken mamma from Ohio

I've been lurking on this web site for a year now. What an awesome resource you all have been. We ordered 15 brown egg layers assortment that will be here the end of March. The hubby and I have set up the brooder, purchased food, pine shavings, feeders, and a heat lamp! I'm so egg cited I feel like I'm having a baby all over again! Our daughters are hooked on farm fresh brown eggs, and can eat as many as 2 dozen a week! We always raised white Peking ducks for fun, but decided to try for chickens this year. We are planning our coop as I type...and any and all advice is welcomed!
