We had two turkeys in the house for a month or so and they had to go....



...Outside to their new house. We love them and now are planning on getting chickens and building them a 2 story coop on the other side of the yard. Lol

Welcome to BYC! I'm fairly new too. I love this site, there's so much information and everyone is awesome. I have chicks that are a little over 2 weeks old and two young boys, 8 & 11. They play with the chicks all the time. Today they introduced the chicks to the guinea pig! Everyone got along just fine. Our babies are in our house in the sunroom where it is warm and protected from all our other critters. The hubby is starting our coop tomorrow. I've become completely obsessed with the chickens and I never saw that coming! Good luck and enjoy!
