Hi everyone!

Our girl needs help. Yesterday I noticed her bum and freaked out so I researched prolapse quickly and soaked her for 30 mins in warm water. I pushed it back in, but it continues to come right back out. I held it in for ten mins but still comes out.

I tried using honey, then now trying preparation h.

I tried keeping her alone but she won’t eat or drink so I put her back with the flock and she’s acting normal and they aren’t bugging her.

How else can I fix her?

Thank you ❤️

Do you have photos?
Can you tell if there's an egg stuck in the tissue?

Read the article linked in the Previous Post. Sometimes the tissue will not stay in until swelling goes down and/or obstruction has passed. The most important thing is to keep the exposed tissue from drying out by applying your ointment, honey, etc. Do keep her separated from the others so tissue doesn't get damage from picking and it's best to keep her where flies can't get on the exposed tissue.

Ok. Thank you, I will.

She did lay an egg with blood on it yesterday, so not sure there is an obstruction?

I read to push it back in a few inches, but so far I just gently did it.

I appreciate all the help from this site that I’m new too, I don’t feel so alone now with caring for her ❤️❤️❤️💓
