Use black jack roof sealer in the caulk tubes and seat it with your finger. Either wear latex gloves or clean the tar off your fingers with a little gas then soap and water.Thank you and will do!! Luckily this house has a ton if windows which we plan in using hardware cloth on for security. Definitely need change hinges and make modifications. Another thing I need to do is seal the seams between the roof slats to keep the water out. So, lots of small tweaking to do. I'll keep you all posted once I actually get rolling.
Got it!! A solar powered fan is on my list for sure. Unfortunately, I have no shade and have to get creative. Planning on growing passion fruit vine which is FAST growing to offer shade. I also wanted to paint the inside which is a dark treated cedar. What do you recommend for painting?? I want to go light to reflect the sun. For the flooring I was thinking of rubber or epoxy to keep things dry.Use black jack roof sealer in the caulk tubes and seat it with your finger.
