New chicken Mom in Alaska

Hi Everybody,
I live in Alaska and just got a few chickens. I have BBS English Orpingtons that have just started to lay, a SWH Rooster that I am trying to find girlfriends for and a mix hen that I think is my favorite.

Hi! Welcome! I just joined too, but had chickens before I found this site. I also live in Alaska: some of the problems I had with my six, was the wildlife...
Goshawks, bears and foxes will do almost anything to get at your chickens, so make sure that they're always safe or watched..! Haha, but Welcome!!
