New chicken mom in M.D., Worried

I have eight new chicks and i'm worried about one, a New Hampshire red she is two weeks old and seems to be sleepy and lays down a lot. This just started today. I give them electrolytes in their water and the starter crumbles with the medication built in for Coccidiosis. I haven't seen any bloody poop. Any help would be appreciated, Tam

I'm not an expert or anything but I've had a few chickens do that once or twice and they were just fine in a day or two. Sometimes, just like people, they just don't feel well and need a day or two of rest especially after a really cold and rainy day. Its probably just a little under the weather. But still keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get worse. Hope it gets better! and

Welcome to BYC. Try giving the chick some water with sugar mixed in it. That should perk her up.
