New chicken mom to a barred rock

Just wanted to say a big hello to everyone! I only own one chicken. She is a 2 month old barred rock. I would love more info and answers to questions I have from knowledgeable chicken owners!

Welcome! She’s so adorable! We have 3 barred rocks and love them. Would recommend you get a couple more hens to keep her company as a “flock” animal. She will be more happy with friends

Is her legs and comb normal? I've read many things about this and posted in the emergency thread, but since you have barred rocks, I thought I'd ask. And I do plan to find a rooster for her when it's time. Plus, she has a flock of 10 chickens next door that come here.

She needs her own flock. It will be hard on her physically to be the roosters only female.

I do not think she is a barred rock. I believe she is an olive egger. Her legs appear to have a greenish tint.
