New chicken mom

Hi everyone,

I’m Lisanne, I live in the foothills of Northern California on a ranch. I raised 24 Red sex link chicks this spring. The ladies are sweet and great layers. Planning on making a larger run with a lot of edibles for them. We’ve raised sheep, turkeys, pheasant, chukar, and quail, but this is the first time with laying hens. We’re glad we decided to raise them. I look forward to spending time with them everyday.
