Hi I am a new chicken mom, I started raising chicken in 2019 after my dad passed away to help me deal with it all. I have 6 adult pullets. They are Princess cinnamon, pumpkin, Hei-Hei, chicken, violet, and goose. As you can tell yes I have children. lol. I am a single mom of 3 boys who are special needs. They love our chickens. Right now we have 2 barred, 2 long island reds and 2 laced wayndotta(sp). My favorite thing is going out to the coop every morning and getting the eggs and laughing because we have one chicken who thinks she is a princess who needs left out of the coop and then left into the chicken run. lol. I came to this thread because about 3 weeks ago I became a new chick mom to 10 babies. The feed store told me they were all Easter Eggers and they were all pullets. I do believe I have 4 roos in the mix. which if I do I will need to find homes for them as I can not keep roos where I live. sadly. I was going to post the pictures of the chicks and see what everyone thinks and maybe also know the breeds also. Thank you for accepting me into your community.
