Update: It seems to be a vitamin deficiency. I got some advice on what to give her. We will treat her and hopefully she will bounce back and give the rest of the girls a run for their money on who is Top Hen!
Thanks for all the positive words!
I am new to chickens and I have questions. One of my new chicks( about 10 days old) is acting very strange. She appears to not have any balance, acting kind of drunk and wobbly. I have read a little bit about the causes and the most common seems to be a vitamin deficiency. I bought a supplement to add to the water and I am not sure how long it should take to see a difference. She seems to eat, drink and poop ok. The other chicks just kind of ignore her. A couple of days after bringing them home she had something wrong with one of her eyes, couldn't tell if she got something in it, got pecked by another or had an infection but it cleared up after a couple of days and then she started acting weird. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
