Last year my better half brought me my very first baby chickens. I have 1 Americauna, and 5 ISA Browns. Finding the first eggs was very exciting. I called my kids lol. This year I've gotten black Sex link babies and Silver laced Wyandotte s. I'm so excited to watch them grow ♥️ I lost my 16 year old red pit last year, I think that's why they got me the chicks. I have 3 dogs, 1 of which is a lgd. He's doing great, he's a 4 month old pit. He really loves watching the babies and keeps an eye on his big girls. It's great to be here.

I am sorry for the loss of you red pitty friend.
Losing a furry family member is hard under any circumstance, losing them during a year already full of uncertainty and extreme stress puts a little extra ache in your heart about it.

It's pretty amazing how those fluffy butted creatures can uplift spirits the way they do!
Sounds like your better half knew what they were doing!

BYC is full of wonderful, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful humans and some great looking chickens (and turkeys, rabbits, ducks etc)
It's a great place to hone chicken obsessions!

We'd love to see what your fierce lady raptors look like (throw in a picture or two of your four legged friends if the fancy strikes you as well)!
