New Chicken Momma here

Hi. I live in downtown Phoenix and have just started keeping chickens. I started out with 7 Dominique pullets, but the dogs tragically killed four. My remaining three are working to redefine their little flock as their leadership was killed. As a new Chicken Lady I was shocked at how affectionate my girls were and how attached I became to them. I'd sit in the coop and be covered in chickens wanting to cuddle and be petted. I'm working with my remaining girls to re-establish that since the girls who would start the petting requests died. Chickens are pretty amazing. I'm glad to have this resource.
