Hello everyone! First time raising chickens! I have four chicks now, 1 EE, 1 Cuckoo Marans, 1 Black Sex Link, and 1 SLW. We are working on our coop now, hoping it's done within the next week or two, as my girls are getting too big for the brooder and the weather is gorgeous!! Love the boards, there is so much info to be found!! Looking forward to this adventure (and some fresh eggs!

All their names are from books (I'm a total nerd like that)

Silver Laced Wyandotte - Katniss
Black Sex Link (my favorite, she's such a sweetheart!) - Hermione

Hi from Franktown! I won't argue that the weather is awesome. Do you have the smoke from the AZ fires? You can post pictures after you have 10 posts. You can stay on 'new member introductions' and welcome some newbies. Good luck on the coop
