We live near Acalanes High School in Lafayette CA and have four pet chickens for a number of years. We are heading out of town and our usual chicken hotel host (another family in Lafayette, CA) are also out of town at the same time, Do you know of anyone in the area who can put up with four chickens for a week? Or know any kids who are willing to open and close the chicken coop every day for one week for pocket money?
