Hi! I just got my first chickens this spring. Three RIRs, two EE's and a white plymouth rock. They are 8 weeks or so old now and the three RIR's are standoffish but the other three are so cute an friendly!
I am getting ready to build a Garden Coop with some modifications like adding an extra section in the run, a big window in front and a covered/wind protected door on the side instead of up from the bottom.
I have the plans already and have read them but am still getting the nerve to start building. No experience at building anything I'm afraid. It will be an adventure.
Any suggestions on the coop or in general please feel free to make them - I need all the help I can get

and Welcome To BYC! Sounds like you have a pretty flock and that is a nice project you have planned! X2 on maybe try posting your plans in the Coop/Run Design forum for suggestions or general advice and encouragement during the build. Good luck!
