Hi everyone! My wife and I restored the chicken coop on our property and got our first four pullets today:
one silver Ameraucana, one Barred Rock, and two Rhode Island Reds.
Our property had an old, dilapidated chicken coop so we decided to fix it up and get some hens. Restoring the coop was quite the job (check out the pictures) and it got a bit expensive, but we are thrilled with the results. We need to tweak a few things here and there, but mostly it’s finished. Now we are excited to enjoy our little companions!
Also, thanks to everyone for the useful information up to this point. We’ve done our fair share of research and BYC was super helpful!
