New Chicken Owner Seeks Advice

I just got 2 Black Stars, 1 Red Star, and 2 Mixed hens. Built them a 5 X 10 foot run with the coop above it. How long do i need to leave them in the run and coop before I can start letting them out of the morning and they come back to roost in there coop? I don't want them to wonder off and not come home? Any advise would be great. Dover, Arkansas

I would keep them inside for of the coop/run for about 2 weeks.
